Go Forward Together in 2012
I've seen slogans that read "Lean Forward" and "Push Forward." In 2012, believers slogan should be "Together Forward."
If we agree and accept Philippians 3:13 and 14, then in 2012, we have a taks and a duty ahead of us.
In the NKJV, Philippians 3:13 and 14 reads: (13) Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended [by no means am I an expert] but one thing I do forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, (14) I press toward the mark ; the goal; the target to win the prize of the heavenly calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Emphasis is mine.)
What is success to you? Is it to gain a coveted position, to acquire lots of things that this world has to offer? Who has influenced that vision of success you have? Is it high profiled people such as movie stars, CEO's, drug dealers, or could it be the preacher? Does your view point include God's purpose for your life? What have you given up? What have you sacrificed? Into what do you see worthwhile to invest your time, energy and money? Are you pursuing the plan God has for you?
In going forward together, we must all believe the same thing, we must all say the same thing, that we all may receive the same thing in order for all of us to hear the same thing.
As recorded in Matthew 25:19-30 and Luke 19:11-27, KJV, our God and Savior is serious about what we have been given to manage - OUR LIVES.
Beloved, to the faithful servant, the words well done and enter in will be music to the ears.
